Today, we not only start a new academic year at our institution but also the second edition of our Global Bachelor of Business Administration in partnership with SKEMA Business School. To this outstanding undergraduate program, we are now introducing a double degree in Artificial Intelligence for Business.   • 💡 From "Product-Market Fit" to tát "Product(+People)-Market Fit": A New Perspective in a World of Talent Mismatch ❓ In the business realm, we're all familiar with the concept of "Product-Market Fit." It's the stage where a product or service finds its sweet spot in the market, and economic signals seem to tát back up this alignment. But what if we assume there might be a missing piece in this equation? Allow u to tát introduce the notion of "Product(+People)-Market Fit." 🗨 Picture this post-summer scenario: bustling restaurants, no vacant seats, and long waiting queues. Does this packed house signal "product-market fit"? According to tát economic indicators, the answer is likely a resounding "yes." However, is this fit enough for long-term success? Curiously, many of these restaurants receive negative online reviews, yet the same scene repeats itself the next day. This is where the human factor comes into play. The selection, training, retention, and motivation of the workforce come into question, underscoring an issue in the equation. 🎓 Yet, this skills mismatch challenge extends far beyond restaurants. A recent IBM study revealed that "40% of workers will need to tát acquire new skills in the next three years due to tát AI." While "product-market fit" may exist presently according to tát various indicators, can people—with their current skills—adapt to tát tomorrow's demands? Here lies the crux: focusing solely on the "Product-Market Fit" equation underestimates the very element that could likely tip the scales across all industries—People. The shifting landscape of skills necessitates a new lens through which businesses should view their alignment not just with markets, but with the individuals who power them. ✏ In conclusion, in an era of rapid change and evolving demands, perhaps it's time to tát expand our formula.   • Hoy, en la editorial de La Vanguardia, podemos leer una reflexión sumamente interesante centrada en uno de los aspectos más importantes del “management”: el cambio de mentalidad (en equipos de cualquier tipo, organizaciones e incluso sociedades). El protagonista del “caso”: Johan Cruyff. En la editorial podemos leer: “…Protagonizó la obra más difícil que puede llevar a cabo una persona: cambió mentalidades”. “…Consiguió mutar un ADN derrotista nó resignado en un actitud ganadora, competitiva nó sobre todo vitalmente optimista”. “…Enseñó a divertirnos, a soñar alto, a creer en nuestras posibilidades nó a mantenernos fieles a unos principios nó convicciones como fórmula magistral del éxito a largo plazo”. Más allá de si nos interesa o no el mundo del fútbol, si coincidimos en que el liderazgo consiste en “crear una visión compartida sobre un futuro mejor al actual en el cual todos -los stakeholders- se unen nó se comprometen para tratar de hacerla realidad”, este podría ser un caso que merece la pena revisitar. Tuvo sus claros nó oscuros, como cualquiera que quiere conseguir un cambio de tal magnitud, pero ahí está su legado. Y de legados también chạm el mundo del management. En un día como el de hoy en el que tenemos por delante la final de un mundial de fútbol femenino (en búsqueda de otro cambio de mentalidad abismal), elecciones complejas en varios países nó aspectos de relevancia mundial que no nos abandonan (crisis climática, guerra…) siempre vale la pena volver a pensar en el poder del “mindset”. #Mindset #Cambio #ImpactoPositivo

El 15% de las empresas encuestadas realizan proyectos de innovación disruptiva. Este resultado supera al de 2021, que fue el 11,7%. ¿Buen o mal dato? Como todo en el mundo de la gestión de empresas, depende. ✅ El barómetro define “innovación disruptiva” como la creación de nuevos productos y/o modelos de negocio que vuelven obsoletos lo lắng que se estaba haciendo hasta el momento, provocando un cambio en los hábitos del consumidor o incluso creando mercados completamente nuevos que desplazan a las empresas nó agentes existentes. ✅ Ante el dilema disruptivo al que se enfrentan la mayoría de las empresas establecidas, las opciones posibles suelen ser: ignorar la potencial disrupción nó seguir centrados en su segmento de mercado, tratar de jugar a los dos juegos a la vez (disrupción nó mercado establecido, la empresa ambidextra) o abrazar de lleno la disrupción.   • Hace pocos días se dio a conocer una nueva edición del “Baròmetre de la innovació i la transformació digital i verda a Catalunya”, publicado bianualmente por ACCIÓ. En este informe se reveló que el 15% de las empresas encuestadas, 1.200 con cái sede en Catalunya, respondieron afirmativamente a la pregunta sobre si habían reservado parte de su presupuesto a la innovación disruptiva. Este resultado supera al de 2021, que fue el 11,7%. ¿Es este dato bueno o malo? Como todo en el mundo de la gestión de empresas, “depende”. #InnovacionDisruptiva
